1 ton trip report.
Just got back from Sturgis with my '70 C30 Cab/Chassis w/26'Franklin motorhome. Picked it up earlier in the year for $400.00, had been sitting next to a barn for 4/5 years, fixed the roof, did a lot of interior work, water damage, got rid of the split rims, put on 6 new tires, new carb, changed all fluids, tune up, new front brakes, packed bearings and off we went, alternator noise , whine, most of the way down, turned out to be nothing, averaged 65/70 mph, appx 8 mpg, vibration started it Rapid City. Changed leaking fuel pump in camp, changed rear drive shaft universal in Mitchell. All in all ran like a champ, sure I would have gotten better milage had I stuck w/ 55mph but was in a hurry to get thier and back home. 1400 miles and minimal problems from a 400.00 truck w/1,000.00 worth of fix up and not having to spend a week in a tent. Took some truck pics, will post later.

No, did not find it in Sturgis, found it 2 miles from home in Wi., bought it with the intent of taking it to Sturgis.
