.....to try and install solo

Did they engineer the shape on that thing to purposely fight a jack? It's like one of those damn weeble-wooble toys in reverse - it weebles, it wooble but it won't stand up!!!!

After near death experiences, it's finally in, but man, that sucks by one's self!

Yep it's a pain. BUT, a Mack twin stick is far worse. Imagine the same basic shape, but 6 times bigger & heavier

yuck - but I've got enough sticks already...1 for the SM420, 2 for the Dana 18 and 1 for the Warn OD. Woohoo 16 forward gears and 4 speeds of reverse!

haha what me my dad and uncle do with my sm465 is unbolt the floor hump jack the truck up lay the tranny on the jank side ways jack it up while the 2 bottom guys stable then just slide it in, and then we all safely line it up,

I remove the center hump drop a chain through it wrap it around the trans and lift it in to place with my engine hoist
