Frame weight?
Anybody have an idea on what a bare frame and crossmembers weigh? It's a 4wd frame but that doesnt add much weight..No springs or anything.Just crossmembers and the frame rails.

Re: Frame weight?
If i had to guess with the way the tractor and loader acted when i picked one up id say around 800 pounds.
But thats just a guess i can pick up 1400 pounds with it and the back end gets real light and with a frame picked up it was just a little bouncy. Ed |

Re: Frame weight?
Not sure dustin but if I am in the center I can carry a 2wdlb bare frame without the front suspension crossmeber. So I would say a bare frame ways around 200lbs would be my guess.

Re: Frame weight?
My frame is bare out in the garage right now. I can easily pickup each end and move it around so I'd say between 200 and 300lbs

Re: Frame weight?
I'd agree with the above. My brother and I picked up the entire 2 wheel drive frame and flipped it over on jack stands when I was painting it. just the frame and cross members. Not the front suspension cross memeber though
