motor problems

ok i got my used motor in. it ran great for 3 days. now its running real sluggish and has no horsepower, and its now making that same flywheel broke noise. the same noise the old engine was making. why would it run great then start going down hill that fast and start making that noise. please help

how much was changed? aka ( carb plugs all the add ons

newest additions
1965 shortbed fleet great granddads. Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it

big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in

and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one

i put the intake and throttlebody off the 350 on the 305 that i put in my truck. also tookthe starter and flywheel off the 350 and put it on the 305. thats all i used.

mine sounded like that with no power and my timing was way off

That was my next thing. When the engine was replaced in my dad's truck, they forgot to tighten down the dizzy. It would slowly move while it was driven until it got to the point to where it would hardly move much. Luckily, it was an easy fix that cost us nothing.
