shifter question

I really want a ratchet style floor shifter but I really don's like the look of the mega truck shifter, just looks like it does not belong. I have a bench I will be keeping. any thoughts or pics of a way to customize the mega shifter or some other way to make a ratchet floor shifter look smooth like it belongs?

Re: shifter question

You can go with the Mega design, but change the stick on it to look old style. The ratchet components are strong and well designed, so stick with the quality there. Change the stick to something that Lokar sells and make it fit the linkage below. The important thing is to design a reverse lock-out activation rod.
