rocker boxes

i just got my new boxes in mail the other day. i have a couple of questions about door jam to pillar spacing, or do you just measure bottom to top and adjust before welding new ones in, or is there anything to try to avoid doing possibly to save time or rework. i was thinking of trying to space door pillar off roll bar to window frame for door alignment. then welding in place. as i have heard from other posts the boxes are going to stop alot of the flexing in the door body area.as my boxes currenly are shot. any information would be greatly appriciated.

Re: rocker boxes

Wes has it right, the rocker boxes were the very last thing I replaced.
