Re: Truck covers???

I don't have a picture, but mine is a nice WOLF it's made of evolution 4 fabric, very soft & breathable, & it's custom fit for a 67-72 with a cowl inductuon hood, fits very nice, shows the outline/shape of the truck when it's covered, nice & tight.

Re: Truck covers???

I totally agree!. My dad has one for his 70' and it's awesome The cheapest price I have found is at Summit. They used to be about $170 but recently shot up in price.

Re: Truck covers???

I dont recommend them. They can hold moisture under them. It may not be a problem indoors with climate control. I bought a 63 deuce that was totally covered with surface rust, from a cover being put on it for years. Just my honest opinion.

Dude...come on' !!! With all due respect...I need a Truck cover for my nicely painted 71' Lil' Red that lives inside my shop at Gatorhyde of Denver. No humidy here in Denver and very DRY! I need to keep the dust off my truck, just like to see what everybody's got!

Thanks

Re: Truck covers???

If you buy a nice one with good breathable fabric, it won't trap moisture under it, another thing I love about mine is when I do decide to drive the truck, when I pull that cover off it's all shiney & clean with practically no dust at all. Without the cover i'd have to wash the truck alot more often, I like driving it alot more then washing it

Note to self: Don't put cover on truck immediately after washing, or a rain storm.

Re: Truck covers???

I have covers on the tree50 and the Z and really like them. You have to have one that will breathe so any moisture can get out. I would be interested in one for my truck. Show us some pics!!

Re: Truck covers???

Mine is wolf also. However I have the old big mirrors and it ended up ripping on the passenger side at the seam. Luckily my mom used to be a seamstress so she is going to add some waterproof fabric so it fits better.

Re: Truck covers???

I went outside and looked, both of the covers we have are Covercraft Noahs. They fit well but I don't know how well one for a truck would fit.

Re: Truck covers???

Tim when we were in Maggie valley we were talking about how water pooled up in the back when it rained. I saw something at Wal Mart Sunday that should solve that. Back in the section with the boating supplies they have a little expandable pole with a flat base that's made to keep water from pooling up on a boat cover. I see no reason why it wouldn't be the ticket for the back of a pickup. I think they were right at $10.

Yeah, I ordered it and it was a wolf - It's not supposed to ship until the first, but I'll take a picture and post it on this thread - $195.00 shipped.

Re: Truck covers???

I buy only California car covers for my rides.. They are very nice, have a very soft backing and fit great. www.calcarcover.com

they are a little more pricey but are worth it..
