Blazer auto steering column
Does anyone know if an auto steering column out of a '71 4WD Blazer is any different than the 2WD? I have an oppotunity to get one out of a Blazer for my '67 2WD truck. How about the steering box?

Re: Blazer auto steering column
Steering column is the same. The steering box is different - front to back steering vs left to right.

Re: Blazer auto steering column
67 used a different box then 68-72. The frame on the 67 would need to be modified just a bit to accomodate the later box as well. The 67-68 also used a different column then the 69-72 for auto. You can update to a 69-72 column and box pretty easy so don't get hyper ---just get a complete setup and take your time. The change is worth it as 67 PS stuff is becomming real scarce. Huck
