'69 and '70 hood the same?

I have a good GMC hood on my '69 blazer right now but found a good cheap '70 hood off a truck. Will they interchange without a problem? I'm sorry for the dumb question but I've never had a '69 or '70 before...... thanks!

the hoods from 69 - 70 are the same, gmc or chevy, with the exception of the holes for the badges.
69/70 Chevy, 2 holes for blue bow tie
71/72 chevy no holes at all.
69 - 72 GMC 6 holes, 2 per letter for the GMC badges.

hey long horn whats it take to run the 72 gmc grilles. ? could i use the fenders and hood from from 72 chevrolet? ive heard that the core support has to be changed?

68-72 GMC fenders=68 chevy fenders.69-72 hoods the same Chevy or GMC with trim hole exceptions.67 Chevy and GMC fenders are the same.IIRC,67-68 Chevys use their own core supports,as do the GMCs,same for the 69-72 Chevys having seperate ones than 69-72 GMCs...You can always mod a chevy core support to work on a GMC though..

to run a GMC grill you'll need GMC fenders, GMC core support, hood latch... basicly (easy way) get the whole front clip.

Now.. that being said....
71/72 chevy hood will work, and has no bow tie.
68 chevy fenders will work, may need to fill some holes, and drillsome new ones.
