Do i need to swap my A-arms - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am converting my 65 3/4 ton 8 lug truck to 5 lug using a drop spindal setup from CPP, do I need to swap out my A-arms for 1/2 ton ones.

Yes use the arms and ball joints for whatever year spindels are used.
