new to the site
hey everyone!i got a 64swb gmc and am looking to fix her up.found this site and i am sure it will be alot of help.i have owned a 63 swb,70 lwb,71 lwb,66 lwb,2000 swb and im keeping the 64.plans are to put power disc brakes,ps,a 500ci caddy/th400 combo and a dana60 with 4:11 or 3:73 i have both gear sets.tub the back and drop it.black with white roof and red interior.heres a pic of it,

thanks!i used to live in san jose when i was a kid.i noticed alot of black/white trucks on the site.guess we all have good taste
i just talked to a guy who will sell me everything i need for a disc brake front of his 72 for $300.sounds good to me,but is that a deal or is that average or....? |

welcome from TEXAS!!!!! i like your plans, similar to mine. i want the caddy 500/th400. maybe one day...... o and just so yall know half my roof is white right now gonna go do the other side now then prep the lower half of the truck for the black.

but we all have something in common..... a love for chevy trucks, mainly 60-66 for me. but i have to say id love to have a 59 chevy in nice condition...

my dream truck list is as follows,1950 5 window,1957 cameo,1964-66 swb which i got so im really stoked to have a top 3 truck on my list.i also have a 1963 ss nova and a 1963 nova wagon.

from across town! You got that truck from Cops Towing in Banks didn't ya'? I've had my eye on that for about 3-4 months.... was totally jonesin' for that truck, but my wife put the kybosh on that with an emphatic "Hell-No" ! Good luck on the tinkerin' and let me know if you need help with anything.

yeah i picked it up from cops its quite the "interesting" project.right now im trying to get it to stop,the brakes are a joke.the wiring is worse.and im not even getting into the drivetrain problems.im new to st.helens so its nice to meet a fellow rodder.pm me if you want i'll tell you where im at
