Trying to go WIDE, will a 295/45/18 fit on our trucks?
9in wheel so I know the tire will fit fine on the wheel, but I'm not sure about on the truck. This is just in the rear of course, I'd go smaller (245 or 255/50) in the front.

My 295/50/r16 needed modification. They didn't fit mostly because of the side wall bulge, but i think the combo you want will need a little help to fit.

Re: Trying to go WIDE, will a 295/45/18 fit on our trucks?
If you guys go to an America's tire or one of the chain places they will let you fit tires to see what will work. I went to America's tire and asked if I could buy one and bring it back if it didn't work and they did. It worked so I kept it anyway. Acually I think I brought a few sizes home. As long as you don't drive on them they don't care...

Not too sure but I was able to fit 295/50 on a set of 15x8 rims not sure if an 18" rim would fit or not.

Re: Trying to go WIDE, will a 295/45/18 fit on our trucks?
Wish me luck, I decided on 285/50's on the rear and 255/55's on the front. Tires are already ordered so I really hope they work....

Keep us posted, wouldn't mind knowing myself. Percy's makes a gadget that can tell you the max wheel and tire combo. I think I saw it in JEGS or Summit. Sorry don't remember the price.
