Ryan Reum-ster's LED tailights rule!!

Just a quick note to let you quys know that I recently received the LED rear tailight setup from Ryan.

I put the lights in first with my stock red tailight lenses and when my wife stepped on the brake pedal i could not believe my eyes. These lights are way bright and (far brighter than the stock.(2times??). which is usually not the case with LED's)

the other neat thing about them is they are very quck to turn on and off compared to filament bulbs.

With the stock red tailight lenses the rear of your truck looks completly stock until the tailights come on. Then like magic you have tons of lights evenly spaced thoughout the lense. (stock was just one bulb at the top)

Installation takes less than 5 minutes and is easy.

upon installation a neighbor of mine with a 1968 camaro immediatly started measuring my lenses to see if the size was close enough to his .. to get them in his car. Needless to say these will be something most of us will have to get.

if anyone has anyquestions about the kit please let me know.

I will try and post a pic in the next couple of days.

But in the meantime thanks Ryan for your help and for the neat kit

Tom

Cool! I should have tail lights and front turn signals within a few weeks from Ryan.

Thumbs up Thanks

I'm glad you like them. Remember the ones I sent you are only 120 LEDs per side. The actual production inserts will have 162 LEDs per side, so they'll be even more impressive. But there's really know comparision between our LED inserts, and standard bulbs, or the cheap APC LED 1157s. They are in a class of there own.

Reumster,

Any chance of a do-it-yourself type kit for someone like me that wants to make his own tail lights?

I was thinking of making Bowtie shaped tail lights and mount them into the rear fenders on my 69 stepside. Adding LED's to this would really make a custom statement! LOL

I really like it, I would be hard pressed not ot have them on my truck. Not nessasarily just for the coolness factor, but fot the safety factor as well. Cars nowadays have pretty bright brake lights and our older equipment needs all the help it can get from all of the unattentive drivers out there. When I am ready, I will check into a set

Drop me a e-mail.

Yes they are safer, and we need all the protection we can get for or classics. LEDs emitt light 20% faster than standard bulbs. And are inserts are alot brighter than standard bulbs.
