backspacing question

I have truck ralleys on now what was the standard back spacing on these rims. Going to look at some used rims and want to know what back spacing I can get away with.

Thanks

Re: backspacing question

Alex, do you have 5 lug or 6 lug?. Disk or drum on the front?. I "think" the rally wheels have 4" backspace. If you have drums and 15" rims it's easier to go with more backspace for the front. I just converted to disc (6 lug) and have 4" bs and it just barely clears the rotors. If I would go to a bigger rim than I would have more options. Hope this helps! What size rims you thinking of going with?. I know somebody who has a set of polished Centerlines similar to mine but 17" thinking of selling cheap to fund a Big block project.

Re: backspacing question

I am pretty sure that the 6 lug truck rallies are an 8 inch wheel with about 3 1/2" backspacing.
