Windshield Washer Bottle Tops For Radiator Overflow Use - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I FOUND SEVERAL ( NEW GM ) RADIATOR COOLANT OVERFLOW TANK TOPS AT A LOCAL TRUCK SERVICE COMPANY TODAY. THESE WILL FIT ON THE STOCK GM WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID TANK SO YOU CAN INSTALL A SECOND TANK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE UNDER THE HOOD AND HAVE A RADIATOR CATCH CAN SO TO SPEAK. THESE HAVE THE 2 NIPPLES ON THEM FOR HOSES . ONE HOSE GOES TO THE RADIATOR AND ONE HOSE IS FOR A OVER FLOW HOSE GOING TO THE GROUND. THESE ARE DISSCONTINUED FROM GM AND WERE ONLY USED FOR 1 YEAR. NONE OF THE AUTO PARTS PLACES SELLS EM SADLY. ANYWAY IF YOU WANT ONE THERE 16.00 EACH DELIVERED IN 48 STATES.

bob is this what you need a pic. of? i have had about 90 of these trucks and this is the frist one of these i have had. it is also a 71 gmc with coil springs never saw that before either.67000 act. miles.

thats the priceapal but the tops i,ve got a genuine gm and have 2 places for a hose on the cap side by side. i hose to rad. and another one for a vent hose for the tank. i,ve got some pic,s. now if anybody need to see it. email me. several are spoken for and i have only a very few left.

Yep Thats What They Look Like. That Bottle Has I Outlet Capped, It Should Be Hooked To A Overflow -pressure Release Hose Going Out The Bottom Of The Truck.

I always put that neat little black plug on that big tube of the cap. It just looks better/cleaner and the bottle never gets up to the top. It just moves up & down about 3".
I wouldn't want more hoses running off of it. Keepin it simple!
