Lighter springs on 73 K20?

Bought a 73 K20 not too long ago with a 4" lift, and drove it home with my motorcycle in the back, and it felt great. Got home, unloaded, and now the truck rides like a tank. Even with the brand new shocks. Curious about whether anyone makes, or could I use 1/2 equivilent, 4" lift springs? Looks like the lift on mine came from add a leafs rather than new springs. Want to just spend the money to make her ride alittle more civil (I know it ain't a camry, but damn this thing takes bumps like the axles are solidly attached.) So, any help on similar height, lighter duty springs, or other fancy solutions?

Re: Lighter springs on 73 K20?

still getting a free pic hoster, but I will describe to get some more information. The rear springs are 7 thinner leafs on top of one thick bottom leaf on top of a 3" or so block. Does the block mean that I would need to order stock height lighter springs or is some of the lift in the springs also?

you can try a little less air in the tires or different less aggressive tires if you've got bigass knobbies like most lifted trucks seem to have

Front springs:

Rear spring

I do realize getting rid of the 35" BFG mud terrains would help, but damn these springs are thick!! Gimme some advice from those who have gone through this. Thanks.
