Re: Wtb 292 I-6 Thermostat Housing

I'll be going to the jy tomorrow and I'll look for ya. I may have one, but may need it myself down the road- not sure yet.

Just to be sure- you need both pieces or just the bottom iron housing? I know I've got an extra alum top piece.

Re: Wtb 292 I-6 Thermostat Housing

Bob,
the 71 I pulled the power steering set up was still complete when i saw it last, it had a 292. i'm not sure if they would be willing to ship or not. they're number is (925)634-2000. let me know what they say, i'm off until next tuesday but plan on going deer hunting but i MIGHT be able to make it out there--i can't promise though.

Yes, it's got an extra outlet port IIRC.

Re: Wtb 292 I-6 Thermostat Housing

That looks different than the one I have. Unfortunately, it's in another location and I forgot it. I'll get it tomorrow and post a pic.

I think that's off a late model L6.

There are no cracks and the threads are in great shape. Just needs to be sandblasted and painted. $20 shipped.
