Mr drakes truck is looking for a new home!!

i bought this truck from the original owner in wisconsin last summer.
it has 50,xxx original miles beutiful interior and outstanding original wood bed.

brand new tires (BFGoodrich) and front bumper.

the original camper was just removed on friday and put on my chevy. it is not included with the gmc.

the tailgate was installed today for the first time scince 1970. the gate is discolored a bit because the storage shed where it was kept was hit by lightning years back.

radio, spotlight ,gauges, all lights , all work fine.

engine and trans have alot of pep.

That is a great looking, original truck...especially the inside of the bed.
Because it is so original, you might consider repainting the green on the TG, getting the correct outside mirrors and putting black heater hoses back on it.
The details can really make a difference on a truck that nice.

that is a very nice original truck.Its nice to see them kept up that way over the years.Looks great without the camper to me,either way a super nice truck.

the new owner is gonna need something to tinker with.
besides if i make it perfect less people would be able to afford it.

i have my hands full lately and im stressed out do to lack of time to my self.

i baught another vehicle (59 caddy)and im over whelmed with what i have so this and my 53 ply. have to go.

3 classics is more than enough for me to keep up with ,never mind our 2 daily drivers.

all I can say is beautiful survivor, its gonna be hard to replace or even find its equal. I am sorry you have to cut that one loose and hopfully the new owner realizes what he/she has purchased. Cb

i already have its equal!
this is my cheyenne that is NOT for sale.
the memory of getting the GMC will be unforgetable.
