66 GMC modern door handles
Any suggestions on how to add power door locks on the 60-66 chevy/gmc doors. A few months ago I saw a 57 Chevy Pickup with outer door handles that were off of the 90's style Chevy doors. Does anyone know if it is a simple mod to swap/convert over to the newer 90's or 00's (Pull type) door parts?

heres a couple pics of a truck i saw that has newer handles on it, i dont think there the type your talking about though. the color on this truck makes it ugly as hell.

that bed does not look good at all IMO.
But to your question, I have seen that type /\ before on these trucks, but not the pull type. |

i like the bed alot, it looks cool. but that color just makes it look VERY bad. heres something similar, tell me what ya think of this.....

I like the moulding, that kinda makes it look like it was supposed too be there.
Its like those body kits for 10th gen t-birds to make them look like studebakers, it just does not mix. |

Thanks for the info...those are the same type of handles I saw on the 57...but they look really ugly on this truck...I think I'll stick to the originals!! That color is horrible!! Thanks for the pics!!

That 88-98 bed flows well with the lines on the 67-72 body style but looks like a freak show on the 60-66 style

Maybe if the bed had the same lines on the fenders, it wouldnt be as bad, but that would be one helluva job, especially if its plastic, lol...
