As for all show and no go i'm not sure. Maybe it's top heavy but it's geared right, has a custom frame with a sturdy suspension and a decent engine. I bet you could bounce around a little.... is it pratical...hell no would it be fun? hell yes....

I would drive it to the mall no problem. Most states go by frame hight now not bumper hight the standered apears to be 29in from ground to frame max hight. there are 2 states cant remeber witch I think SD and WY maybe that has only one lift law must be safe working conditon no hight restrictions at all.

I think he painted it green so people would see him coming and get out of his way. It's a big one.

Between the mega arched springs and those harder then rocks military michelins you'd better have good dental insurance if your gonna drive it.
Dana 44 with those tires?

The thing is SWEET. I saw it a couple of times out at Fireball truck night. Only difference is, it had the 49" Iroks on it when I saw it, not the 53" Mich. Actually I think it looked better with the 49" Iroks myself. Super clean truck, which was a turnoff for me. Way too much invested for a poor schmuck like me to feel good taking it through the mud. It would be a blast, don't get me wrong. But I like my 4x's to be "broke in" so I don't get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I crinkle a quater or rip through a real tight trail & scratch the crap out of it. Nice truck non-the-less.

Re: HOLY CRAP - Ebay 68 K-20 w/53" tires...
Nice truck but I agree with the all show statement. At least they state that was the intention in building it. I don't doubt it's ability to cruise, but 53" tires would be the overload for even Dana 60's off road.
Don't get me wrong its a beautiful truck, but it's built to show. I can appreciate the effort, but for my own stuff I like them broken in too.

Re: HOLY CRAP - Ebay 68 K-20 w/53" tires...
Ok, found the pic I have of it. And just for grinz I'll post a couple of others from truck night. Not to highjack, just cause as long as I'm posting pics, might as well do it right.
Don't know if that'll work, I'll give it a go though. the last one's my beater.

Re: HOLY CRAP - Ebay 68 K-20 w/53" tires...
Just to clarify that is a D60 up front.
But ya I don't think that would work for me too well... Current bid is 20K ...

That truck is definitely all show and no go. It looks like it has D60's front and rear, which is my first clue this thing might climb the curbs in the mall parking lot and that's about it. If you really wheeled that thing, or should I say ran it in mud bogs, because that's all it would be good for since it's 15 feet tall, you would need at least 2.5 ton Rockwells. At least. I like the color though. Kawasaki green!

Burt, your right they are dana 60's. I read how it started as a 3/4 ton and I didn't look close enough. my bad. I gotta say that frame is a piece of work ,I would love to have one that looks like that.

Re: HOLY CRAP - Ebay 68 K-20 w/53" tires...
I think the axles look smaller due to the tires... I bet you could run zero psi in them... needs to remove the $10 CIPA mirrors though...

The truck is in St Louis? I have never seen it around here and it wasn't at Springfield earlier this year. I saw pics of it at Bloomsburg PA and I believe it was for sale there. That truck is not street legal in MO.
