Wiper motor connections

I have completely rewired my truck (66 C-10) using the Classic Update kit, I'm now installing a re manufactured wiper motor and don't really have any clue what the connections are at the wiper motor. The original motor doesn't work any more because I tried to figure it out with the battery and some jumper wires. It is the 2 speed motor, with 4 terminals (technically only 3, 2 are shared). I know there should be a 12V power, and the 2 grounds coming from the switch. But, which wire connects to which terminal on the motor?

Re: Wiper motor connections

I just did the same kit, here's what I did, works perfect...
The motor has 4 terminals (from left to right - 3 close together then a gap and the last one on the right)
The black/yellow jumper wire goes from the left terminal on the washer pump to the left terminal on the motor. The 2 wire connector connects to the 2 middle terminals on the motor (black/yellow on the left goes to the fuse panel, black/blue on the right goes to the switch), the last terminal on the far right goes to the black wire going to the switch. Does that make any sense? I can try to snap a picture if you need it.

This diagram is for a corvair, but it's pretty much identical...

Re: Wiper motor connections

Thanks, that should do it, I'll give it a try tonight.
