85 manual tranny into a 71

I have a good deal lined up on a 85 sm465 and all the linkage that would be necessary. I was wondering if this is all going to fit into a 1971 K20 with a 454? Will all of the linkage and pedals fit or do I need to buy those specific for a 71? Also the 465 was bolted to a 208 transfer case and I got a 205 (stock so I am assuming) will that bolt together or are the output shafts different?

So is the truck currently an automatic? I had pedals from a 1989 and they definitely wouldn't work in my 69 K20. Doubt the pedals from a 1985 would work either.

My truck right is an auto. I kind of figured none of the pedals or the linkage would fit but thought I would ask and maybe they would.

It would probably be easier to just find a sm465 and 205 out of a 69-79 truck the newer sm465 has a long 32 spline shaft and your old 205 if auto would be 27 spline. Or just run the sm465 and 208 in your truck the shafts in the newer truck should work in the older one if you go that route.
