Thumbs up Howdy from South Carolina

Hello All,

I fell in love with a white on pale yellow '71 or '72 (I think) LWB at the Charlotte Auto Fair about 4 or 5 years ago and decided that it made sense for me to sell my '95 Siverado extended cab and buy an older model to play with. While looking around on the internet, I stumbled across Longhorn Man's "The Longhorn Web Site" and I thought one of those things would be pretty cool. Long story short....I found one in VA on ebay and bought it sight unseen except for the few (poor) pictures in the ad. The guy told me it had very little rust (it has more than a little but still not as bad as a lot I have seen) but the engine had a miss. He said he thought it was the carb. It turned out to have three misses due to Champion plugs and very very wrongly adjusted valves. Anyway, it seems to run great now and I am steadily tinkering with it and making it run better and look better. I have had it for about 1.5 yrs. and looking forward to some good times talking about it and about other truck lovers trucks on this board network. Nice to meet ya!

Gun control, the theory that 110lb. women have the "right" to fistfight with 210lb. rapists.

I know exactly where that is! You don't have a white on pale yellow LWB truck do you?
