DIY4x4 parts

Has anyone used the DIY4x4 parts to convert a 2wd to 4wd? I have my '72 Longhorn and want a 4x4 BAD,so I think I will convert it. Thanks

Kert makes VERY good stuff! I met him a few years ago. Great guy to work with and he can customize whatever you need so give him a call and tell him what you are doing or want to do! He will hook you up proper

i am using the fgb52 kit and engine crossmenber kits.
would reccomend both to anyone,awesome work and fit!

So to answer your question, beyond how awesome Kert is...

I've done it. Very simple to do, as the front portion is a bolt on. I used a C30 frame. Cut the ebrake "bump" out and used Kert's rear shackle hanger brackets. I also used a 52" front spring that got me about 4" of lift... so I went with one of his shackle flips in the back.
