Tire size

I've decided on what size of rear tire I wanna run: 315/35/20.

For the front I figure I'll have less issues running a smaller tire. I want something that has nearly the same sidewall height as the rear, so I figure a 275/40/18 fits that bill very well. I also know that this size is readily available (its what came on the rear of my vette). This size should also fit fairly well while driving down the road, as right now I have 275/50/17s that are about an inch taller.

Anyways, what do you all think of the tire size combo. Anyone have this size combo?

Re: Tire size

Stick w/20's all around.

That rear size listed is available from Toyo & has a section height of 4.34". A 255-40 has a section height of 4.01" & is also available from Toyo. 255's on an 8.5" wheel would be 1.18" of tire/wheel so the 315's would be similar on some 11's.

28.03/F
28.68/R

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
