Best Cruise Control for your truck?
As I am planning on taking my truck in this fall and start the mechanical resto...I would like to have a cruise control installed so when I head over to see mom and my son I can set the cruise and go. (its about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive) Does anyone make a reliable unit for our trucks? Or do I find an original and add it to my truck? I have went to some of our vendors sites and wasn't able to locate anything but I could have missed it.
Your thoughts & input?

Re: Cruise Control?? Suggestions?
Go to www.Dakotadigital.com. They sell a nice unit that is fairly easy to install. I've had one in 48 for about 4 years now. Best $200 I've spent.
Here's a better link: http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...cat/cat213.htm

[B] that looks like a
Thanks Hart_Rod Thats what I have in mind. The idea of driving 2-3 hours sounds tiring. For those kind of trips cruise is the only way to go.

Re: Cruise Control?? Suggestions?
Joel67...
Thanks for merging. It will make things less confusing for me. Hey Fastfun... I checked out http://www.rostra.com/cruise-control.htm site and looks like Dakota is their outlet for our trucks. Looks very promising. Thanks again.
