heater controls

does anyone know if the heater controls for the gmc have the bowtie's on them or is the one i have out of a chevy.i want to keep this gmc gmc,but i know there was parts sharing.

i'm pretty sure that your heater control panel is prolly out of a chevy. i don't think that gmc would have put its brother's logo on their controls and panels.

I have a 65 gmc I'm pretty sure the interior of the dash is original and it's not the same as chevy. it's just on knob that pull out and turn for strength of blower. I have seen chevy and it has like 3 selector slides if I'm not correct.

well mines got the pull knob with the 3 blower speeds, no sliders. and mines a chevy.

which heater do you have satin? The deluxe or standard(or economy or whatever its called)?
Mine is the standard, so just a pull knob.

i have the 3 arm type and it has bowties on the top of the face.

the one i like satin is like you have the 3 arm or lever type. I think that is the type you have isn't it?

i just remembered the one in my 60 has 4 levers, on for the fan, heat, defrost and air. what sucks is i gotta replace the motor and the actual electrical switch portion of the controls
