a few LT1 swap questions

Anyone here done or know someone who has done this swap in a 60-66?

I can get a good deal on a complete 95 camaro LT1 and a 460Le tranny, along with a painless wiring harness.

My main question is minus the engine/tranny and harness, how much do you think I would have to spend on everything else? (ie. computer reflash, radiator, ect)

I know its a broad question, but I just need a general idea on if its worth it or not. I would love to have that reliability and MPG.

other things to think about are the gas tank, cause preferably you would use one with a sump. You will also need a return line and a high pressure fuel pump. Also the 4l60E does not have a mechanical speedo drive. You will need o2 sensors in you exhaust and, hmmm I am sure there is more.

Re: a few LT1 swap questions

$500-$1000 for a tank with an internal pump. $400 to flash the computer and removed unwanted crap. Header or manifolds including exhaust rework $500+. Radiator, electric fans $500. Other incidentals $500-$1000. Maybe done cheaper with good deals and yard finds, but also doesn't include any outside labor. Usually efi conversions the motor is only half the cost.
