anybody have the alignment specs.??
my local alignment shop's computer doesn't have specs on a 69 c10 2wd.anyone have the correct specs i can give them, so i can get my truck aligned right??? thanks.

A good allignment guy should be able to make up numbers for our trucks. It's a pretty basic susp system. The guy I went to did this, local shop. even set it up for a bit easier steering (less caster?) and to compensate slightly for crowned roads. truck drives %100 better, straight down the road. for no tire wear you should have 0 toe, 0 camber and a degree or so of caster to give a good on center feel. They set it up to compensate for things though and improve feel or stability. Watch then do it if they let you, some neat equipment.

You can go up to 3/4 negative camber without worrying about uneven tire wear. If you have power steering, go for as much positve caster as possibe.
The more pos caster gives you better high speed stability. The con is heavier steering at very low speeds (parking).

Yeah, I'd go somewhere else. If they can't work through an alignment on their own without numbers they probably won't do it right WITH numbers.
