Help with front 8lug identification

Will some of you post the different pics of the 3/4t Dana14 bolt and the D60. I looked at a truck and thought I might buy it if it had the D60 in front. I really don't know the difference. It is not a closed knuckle I do know that for sure but need a pic of each to tell what I was looking at.

Thanks in advance for the help. Truck was an '87 three speed with bull dog and an np208 tranfer. If this helps at all.

Bryan

Re: Help with front 8lug identification

I doubt its a 60 unless it was swapped in but just in case..
If so,the front which would be a corp 10. bolt if it was 1/2 or 3/4 ton would have a round differential cover, the dana 60 front wouldn't.
This will give you a idea of the looks of a 60 front diff cover...

Re: Help with front 8lug identification

Here's a pic of a Dana 60 in a 1984 or 1985 1 ton that I will swap into my 69 K20 probably this fall.

Here is a pic of a 14 bolt out of a 1978 3/4 ton that I swapped into my 70 K5.
