VHT Engine Enamel...sanding flaws?

Has anyone used VHT engine enamel and sanded out any dirt or fisheyes prior to curing? I painted my waterpump and valvecovers off the car. So I was wondering since I havent cured the paint using the recommneded high temperature process, can I sand out the flaws I have.
If you have, what grit paper did y0u use?

if anything , i would wet sand it first with 1,500 grit if its (gummy) at all or loads your paper . Stop.. hope this helps and good luck...if there is anything i can help ya with let me know......tony

I'm going to try it this afternoon. I hope it's cured enough after 24 hrs. I'm hoping if I feather it out enough it won't be noticable.
