Found: '96 Impala SS 427
Ran across this beast today; haven't found the owner yet, but I'm gonna try.
It's fairly beat up, but the trim is all there--that in itself could bring a bundle on eBay --and I haven't yet verified the engine. What scares me is that it's sitting in the lot of a guy who does demo derby cars . . . Anyway, depending on the outcome, if he insists on making a derby car out of it, maybe I can talk him out of the trim (for eBay) and the 427 (for my truck!).
