Best quality replacement panels?

So the only two places I've really looked at for panels were scotts super trucks because its like an hour away, or lmctruck because i just happened to come across their catalogue, lmc's are made overseas, so i was wondering if there were any places that had good quality repro panels? and if anyone knows how high or low quality scotts are. thanks

Re: Best quality replacement panels?

Almost all replacements are made over seas.Almost all are of the same quality since most are made in the same dies just labeled differently. The pricing on LMC parts is usually higher than our BB members,I don't know about Scott's.Being Canadian you may be paying a lot for bringing stuff in.There are reveiws on the board and a vendors list.Search thruogh them for a better deal and good service. You may want to consider a trip down if you need a lot of parts.

Re: Best quality replacement panels?

Most are made by the same company or two, pretty much all overseas. Some are really cheap, some are good. Some will swear by getting an original piece and work from there. All require some work to get good fit. Most of the sheet metal I have seen from LMC has been from the not so good companies and I tend to avoid buying from them. The shipping (and I guess customs for you)are another factor to consider. I would check out the local place for panels or if you are doing mail order use one of the board vendors. They all are top notch people and sop far as I have seen tend to have quality materials.

Dnag my brain and fingers are to slow.

Re: Best quality replacement panels?

A US manufacturer is Tabco which sells factory direct. I don't know how the quality is. I don't see where they ship to Canada.
