frame ID

i was at a junkyard over the weekend and found a K20 frame--- it had the big hub dana 44, and appeared to be 69-72. i couldnt find the vin, but i noticed the front was a open knuckle, drum brake axle? what does that make it, 1970?

also noticed it had a 14 bolt rear, but the shocks both went to the front like 67-72. the main thing throwing me is that it has the open knuckles with drum brakes

Re: frame ID

I believe that it's a 70, my 68 and 69 K20 has closed knuckle/drums, open knuckle/disc in 71-72, so probably a 70.

Re: frame ID

No 14 bolt rear was ever used factory with a drum brake front, so parts have been swapped.

Re: frame ID
