stroked 67 in the future!!

It all started out with me finding a 67 c-10 for 500 bucks with a rought passenger fender and a couple small dents. I took her home and got the 283, 3-speed running by replacing the coil with help from some people on here. but the 283 knocks pretty bad so i found a parts truck from the same guy io bought the 67 from. it has a 350 but has been sitting for a while and could use a rebuild. so i was gonna get a rebuild kit with rings gaskets ect... depending on the shape of the 350 when I take it apart. I found rebuild kits that i think i will need and the run just under 400 bucks i believe, but while i was searching for rebuild kits i found a stroker kit up to 400 horse for just 50 bucks more than the rebuild kit. so i figured what the hell.

Re: stroked 67 in the future!!

Where did you find a stroker kit for $450? Did it include the flexplate? How about a front balancer?

Not truck related, but what kind of OLDS? Mine is a "74 Omega.

I can't help much with the stroker kit but I noticed you were from the big city of Stratford and just wanted to say hi from Brookings.

Re: stroked 67 in the future!!

It is a good price. A total of $624.00 plus shipping to get all the stroker parts.

Summit has a kit that is Internally ballanced for $825 -- http://store.summitracing.com/partde...k=&rsview=sku&

looks good anyway.

P.S. My Omega is only a lowly 350 Gold Rocket... for now
