fun at hunting camp you'll get a laugh out of these

me and my friend went down to the hunting land to move some stands and plant some deer food plots.we forgot to bring the 4 wheelers so we fired up the old farm truck to do some of the work (had to jump the battery it has'nt been run in a while) so were working away but the battery would'nt hold a charge so everytime we cut the truck off we would park it on a hill and roll start it. I built a tank to catch runoff water for the wildlife to drink out of but it's been so dry it has'nt filled up yet.i was going to hang a buddy stand down wind of the tank so i could take my son and let him watch the deer as they came to drink so we had to cross the tank well not really but it sounded like the thing to do at the time but my friend stalled the truck just as he went through the tank, the battery was so dead it would'nt jump so we rolled it backward and tryed to crank it rolling backward no luck so here it sits in the tank with a dead battery.I had to pull it out with my tractor then push start it any way a fun day at camp although we did'nt get much done enjoy DST

Now that's the way to enjoy the day. 2 or more friends just out doing stuff and dealing with the consequences. I love it.

Reminds me of what young 'uns always do... If there's a puddle they have to... well, you know the rest.

Did you do the pond yourself? Also, what kind of tractor is that? From here it resembles an 8N but the color is wrong. I'd like to say it's Kubota color.. I've got a MF135 that's about the same size.

yeah we built it with a bobcat and the kubota L295 in the picture i got a old ford 4000 but the diesel is just easier to deal with plus it's a little smaller that makes it easier to use in the smaller areas. thanks Mike

if you've ever tried to pull stuff with a light weight farm tractor you would know why If I'd pulled it foward the pics would be of a upside down tractor (i've had this tractor vertical several times in the past and i just figured out that you can pull backwards with no problems something else weird that i found out is that a deisel will run reversed i bogged the motor pulling something and it started up running backwards! blew my mind exhaust out the air cleaner in foward gear but backing up i thought i had really screwed something up
