funny story

so when i met my girlfriend almost a year ago she pretty much hated my truck(got a 69 c10 longbed) she said it was loud and ugly, and she thought since it was so old it would be unreliable. well her car wich was a 1990 model broke down 2 time and was in the shop for a total of 2 months hehe. all the while my old blue beast was still running like a top, so i carted her around aswell as me and ended up putting well over 100 miles on it a day. she still didnt like when i peeled out everywhere and wouldnt listen to me when i talked about it. well now about 6 more months have passed and my truck is still running great, and she ended up dropping another 2k into her car, and she ended up trading it. so today she asks me what im doing tomorrow, and she wanted to know if we could go to the salvage yard to look for another car to restore. cuz mines so reliable.

OK, the first one was when you were talkin bout your truck bein better than anything... and the second one was 2 hrs later when you were still talkin smack?
It's awsome to 'convert' someone's line of thought on older stuff isn't it.
*spoken in a respectful mannor*... you have a very good looking girlfriend there.

Re: funny story

She looks like a girl I dated in high school, You guys um.... wouldn't know her she's from Canada and hunts wolverines, And rides a unicorn to school. No really shes pretty and I am glad you changed her mind about old cars. now you need to change her mind about burn outs.

Re: funny story

I serously doubt i will be able to change her mind about the burnout part, untill i get her behind the wheel and she sees how fun it is. i took her out there and she not knowingly picked a car that i have always wanted, a bell air. then she found a old old caddy de ville i think mid 50s and she likes that one too. ima try to get the bel air though lol i dont think my budget could restore a caddy.

Did you ever get another truck? I saw how bad the old one was hit, just glad your girlfriend wasn't with you.
