White seat belts - plan alterations required?

I've been looking for a set of white seat belts for awhile and looked online for anyone offering them. I guess if I state what I'm looking for, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

First "want" is a set of 3 belts for my C10 bench - white belts, ORIGINAL looking buckles and retractors. All I can find are airline buckles or generic modern looking push button ones.

Second if I can't get my first "want", a set of white belts that I can bolt in like originals and then swapped my blue buckles onto (possible?).

Are/were there even any white retractors like in our trucks, made?

Am I looking for something I just can't get and if I do find them, do I need to take an eyeball out so I can pay through the socket? Thanks all.

You may have to buy a set of originals that are less than perfect and have them sent off to be re-webbed. Their is a company that does this but I don't know the name off the top of my head.

What came in these trucks was Parchment, like it`s namesake vintage paper, not exactly pure white.

I have a clean set and would trade them for a equally clean set of black ones. special k is right in that they are not white white but a off white.

Re: White seat belts - plan alterations required?

I have a set of these from one of my old trucks. They are not bright white, as you can see, but they did have the "white" sides and retractors like you were asking about.
The funny thing is I have not ever seen anyone selling the plastic support pieces. does anyone know if those have ever been reproduced?

Re: White seat belts - plan alterations required?

I put a nice set of white ones, all three belts, in my 68 stepside that my son was going to drive. I wanted blue, but couldn't find a three piece set and wanted the third in case he had an extra passenger. Planned on changing them out once I found the right color.

If you have a set of blue, I may be interested in trading.

Re: White seat belts - plan alterations required?

These were my rebuilt originals. I think, but not for sure, they were around $325. A good portion of that was for the shoulder harness though.

Those belts look great! Did you restore them yourself or have them done?

Re: White seat belts - plan alterations required?

I didn't get back to this - that set is a beauty! It's what I'm looking for - not the cost I was hoping for but, safety first!
If I have the plastic buttons in the upper cab corners, is there a threaded nut in there or some such to attach the shoulder harness part? I'll be sending a couple of you pms! Thanks all!

Luvlegs, yes there should be a threaded insert in the cab wall behind those plugs. The right bolts will screw right in.

Here is the set I have. Did notice that the driver side plastic that goes over the retractor is cracked, but repairable.
