core support help
Does anyone know if they make a patch panel for the radiator core support? I need to patch the small shelf like area just below the battery tray.

I would like to know this as well cant seem to get a good one for a GMC and they are not being made aftermarket.

If this is the area you are talking about, I don't know of anyone who makes one, but I just did one on mine from some flat sheet metal and welded it in.

I bought the whole core support from Matts Bowties for like 130.00. Very nice piece, don't regret spending the extra money.

i bought some stuff from some guys from arkensaw at a swap meet that had some they made. i thought i had their card but can't find it. they basicly bent the 90s then cut the radises and welded in the lip on the radies i think they wanted $35 for them

YEP! DICK BILLINGS was the fellow that was selling those
he's from rogers arkansas phone no. 479-636-7919 I belive at least one board vendor has them to, there was a thread on here not to long ago. Dick also makes some air and alt brackets |

Cool I didn't even know that they made a patch panel. I don't know why they wouldn't since this is a rust prone area

Mine was rusted out also, but I'm a tight wad, so I patched mine.

Well got the support taken out and took to soda blaster. After all would of been done and said I would of spent $175, So going to just buy new one now.
