Exclamation 6 cylinder power steering brackets

hello all.
I need a set of power steering brackets for a 250 straight six. I am hoping that one of you out there who has done a 6 to 8 swap might still have the brackets laying around. Please let me know if anyone can help me out or let me know where to find them.
Thanks,

Two words:

No Va.

Lots of Novas had inline six's and power steering. You can't use the steering gear, but the pump, pulley, brackets, water pump pulley and harmonic balancer can all be used for a conversion.

The steering gear and Pitman arm are exactly the same on V8s. So find any 2WD Chevy or GMC truck of anywhere near the right year, and you're set. For 4WDs, I believe the Pitman arm is different, but the gear is not.

Be careful about mixing years -- the pulley alignment seems to have changed somewhere around 1974. If you go with the later model years, you also need the timing cover, since the TDC mark moved.

I just did this on my '72 (with all 1974 retrofit parts). Omigod what a difference.

Now if I could do something similar with my air filter housing (Nova air filter housings look great but need to share space with the power brake booster -- not good).

I have had no luck finding an early-model inline six with options in a truck. I guess if you were going "premium" on a truck in 1972, you bought a small block V8.
