Salt flat racer?
Have any of you guys built or seen a 67-72 pickup that was a salt flat racer? I am thinking about making mine a salt flat racer or a street/strip truck. I kind of like the salt racer idea a little better but need some idea's. Thank you

Re: Salt flat racer?
I am looking for more of the salt racer look than actually racing it. I have been to bonneville several times and have kind of become attached to the look.

Re: Salt flat racer?
I have posted a bunch of pictures I took of one of our trucks at Bonneville. He wasn't there this year but I posted pics from 04 and 06. Do a search and I bet they will turn up.

Re: Salt flat racer?
The truck showen is in the AA class of motors which is 500 ci and above unlimited. The MP is the modified class for pickups and they only allow 3 mods a rearend change, an air damn, and you can set the motor back 2% of the total wheel base.
