i think i'm addicted
I think this site and our trucks should have a surgeon general warning, because they are addicting. i've been working on my truck every free chance i get lately and i get on here probably 3-4 times a day and make sure i havent missed out on any new threads. Do you guys have this same problem?

Absolutely! The knowledge base hear is enormous, as well as the occasional humorous response.

Re: i think i'm addicted
Im the same way. Only been on here for 2 mths but I am finding it hard to be away more than a short time. I check it sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night (while I was dreaming of trucks) just to log-in and see what Ive missed. Its like discovery channel but for c-10 trucks only...You can learn everything on here!

Re: i think i'm addicted
Absolutely! Including my parts trucks I own 13 of them. 5 running and driving, 3 good project trucks, and 5 parts trucks. I'm pretty sure unless the deal falls through, I'll be picking another one this coming weekend.

Re: i think i'm addicted
The wife and I share rides, which puts me in my office an hour early, plus an hour lunch, and then when she doesn't have other things lined out at least an hour or so at night.
I definitely agree with the surgeon general warning. Definitely a case of truckitis!

Re: i think i'm addicted
I think I have the bug too. I am on this site at least 3 times a day and most days more.
Since I have retired for the second time I have plenty of time, of course since my wife works I have to do all the house chores. I manage to work on my truck when I am not building a craft-room for my wife or helping family. I only have one truck now and it is a '71 C-10 farm truck but my son has, let me think, 5 now. We are missing a '68 and '72 model, but are always looking for more. Last weekend we picked up a cab for parts from Smitty's just north of here. Hope the addiction never goes away.
