What color to paint this thing?

Well, we haven't had one of those annoying polls in a while so...

I am beating my head against a wall trying to commit to a paint color for my truck. I've got fenders and doors to cut in, and that's keeping me from doing other things. So, if you've got an opinion on paint color for my truck, here's your chance to spout it out.

Here's the truck...

And the front-runners for colors are below.

Thanks,

Kenneth

You don't want a color like that, if you're trying to build something special, then paint something special.

Once youv'e had black you never go back! nothing looks worse in pictures but better in person than a good black paint job. Having said that I will say that of all your color options I like the bue tone the best. I used to have a slammed-to-the-ground VW beetle that was the same color and I got nothing but compliments on the paint. Red is dime a dozen on these trucks especially stepsides. Nothing wrong with the color but it just doesnt stand out. Its almost Cliche'. No excuse for teal. You'd spend all your time explaining WHY you painted it that color.

Obviously, the best color for your truck is the color you choose. Nobody has to be happy with it but you. I do like the Hugger Orange idea (had a 68 RS/SS Camaro that color) but I'm all for being original. Yellow's are good but it has to be just the right color of yellow. I've seen a few rods painted somewhere between orange and yellow (kinda like a school bus) and it looked awesome. Hard to imagine, but it did look good!

As trick as your truck is you need a stand out color but nothing with a bunch of graphics or anything that draws you away from the body work.Maybe a pearl tangerine from hose of colors, emarld green or a pearl type silver. Whatever color i'm sure its gonna look good.
