Saw my old truck in Pigeon Forge!

I went to the Grand Run last weekend and saw my '72 that I sold about 10 years ago. Man, did it look rough! It had obviously spent a lot of time out in the weather. And the guy was asking more than what I sold it for back when it was nice.....

Re: Saw my old truck in Pigeon Forge!

You should buy it back if you have any good memory's about the truck. That is what im tring to do. My dad sold his 71 GMC about 8 years ago, and i missed it. It was here in Texas but the owner moved to Louisiana. Now my mission is to go find the truck and try and buy it back. Since i grew up in that truck i have alot of good memories about it, we had it for about 13 years. I hope i find it.

Kind of the opposite from me.I sold a truck at Pigeon Forge about 10 years ago and saw it in a magazine as being built be the guy that bought it.

Re: Saw my old truck in Pigeon Forge!

Pigeon Forge is something else. I went over there Thursday last week after driving down from Michigan in my 71 short stepside. I was there long enough to take a picture of my truck and to look around the town. There were lots of cars and trucks there already on Thursday.

Re: Saw my old truck in Pigeon Forge!

Hey guys, I wish ya'll would've let me know you were coming. I live about ten minutes away from PF. I was sitting in front of the Book Wharehouse Friday and Saturday night. I also sold my 86 Saturday afternoon.
