anyone used
has anyone used a complete car frame on a 1947-1954 truck, monte carlo, caprice, ect. any info will be great.

The S-10 truck frames fit the AD trucks.

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...s10+frame+swap I was putting a 52 on a s10 frame but I decided to put my efforts into the 55 and sold the 52 truck. The great thing about the S10 frame is there is so much aftermarket stuff out there for the suspension and frame. Also, a ford 8.8 rear is a direct bolt in upgrade on the S10.

Am sorry but most of the perimeter frame swaps end up looking like an after thought. Am sure there are some swaps that were done and look good but all the ones Ive seen look hacky.
If I was swapping frames it would go on the s10 frame. Why create more headaches then what is needed?
