WTB-Front disc brake backing plate (right) side

1971 or 72? Right side front disc backing plate needed for my '69, I'm swapping to front disc and while taking the rotor off the passenger side the grease cup (sounds like a good name for it) on the backing plate fell off. This can't be good . My zip is 75754 and I Paypal. Please post a pic if you have one. Thanks in advance. I have pretty much everything for my swap and front suspension rebuild so this is the last piece of the puzzle.

Yep, sounds good to me. I pm'd a local guy I know, if he dosen't have the goods I'll be all over it. If you don't mind PM me your paypal addy. Oh, am I on some good drugs or did the 71 rotors have grooves in them? Both sides look identical and don't look like pad metal to metal.

is the backing plate you are talking about the same thing as a dust shield that is what i am thinking you need am i right.

The galvanized, tin...plate that bolts to the spindle. I think 3 bolts hold it on. If you have one, PM your paypal addy and I'll send payment.

my help was supose to get it off this week end but i have not seen him.
so tomarrow i will try to get it off myself. i don't want payment till i get the part off and send you a pic. to make sure it's what you need.

I do believe the original rotors had a groove in them.
