does anyone know the options???

I recently found my build sheet for my truck and it says my truck has an option called Custom C&C Equip. I was just wandering what this is.

Re: does anyone know the options???

I need more info on your truck. What year and what are the other options? Some things in the Custom Convenience & Comfort pkg are already included in other options. It doesn`t change what comes in the pkg, just lets us know more about why it would have been selected.
It`s fun to decifer!

Re: does anyone know the options???

Hmmm...I thought it would be a`67 from the first option you listed(panoramic...).It must have been a C/1500 with options ordered that would have come on a Custom. They could just about be custom-built to be a given model w/o the name. The moulding, chrome grille, bumpers and C&C would have come on a Custom.Actually, the C&C probably means it`s a Custom, come to think of it.I was thinking it was a Chevy until I just read through the rest of your post.
I`m sure with your info the clear answer will coming soon feom others.

Re: does anyone know the options???

Special-K, It may be a custom but the fender badges were just the plain "GMC 1500" ones but the top rear corner of my doors right above the door handles on both sides had a small custom emblem but i didnt think it was original.

That would be correct on a GMC.

Re: does anyone know the options???

Yup!On`67s they had a unique piece of trim on the fender that said "Custom".Then it went to script on door in`68.Later it went on the fender badge.
You`ve got a Custom which is equal to a Chevy CST.

Re: does anyone know the options???

I (obviously) put the wrong info above, I did Z-61 instead of Z-62.
However,t eh Custom isn't the same as CST. My 59 Custom GMC didn't have the lower moulding, cargo lamp, headliner, wood panel on tailgate, scrolled... that's all i can think of off the top of my head. While that old turd had been redone and pretty well molested, I know for a fact it never had most of the items I listed, which were all included on the CST.

Re: does anyone know the options???

So when my truck was new it was the equivilent of a CST? It did have the molding but one of the p.o's removed it all and filled in the holes. You can still see where all of the molding went from the back side of all the panels. It kind of makes me sick to think of how much i am planning to change the truck now. Thanks though for decifering my truck guys
