72 Blazer Grille help
Hi guys, been a long time subscriber, but no expert on these truck so I don't post much, just try to learn as much as I can from the board. I think I have my 71 Blazer sold and its time to button up some finishing touches on my other Blazer a 72. This is where I need some help. I have not been able to find a nice used grille surround and insert so I am planning on getting an aftermarket unit. The truck had the surround painted and a billet insert when I got it and I really don't want to use it because I prefer the stock look. Does anyone have any suggestions on who has the best quality part. Thanks in advance.

Re: 72 Blazer Grille help
Hey Boris, you may want to check this thread out. I pm'd the guy a while back and he said that all the parts were actually located either in or near Cleveland.
Good luck in your search! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=241929

Re: 72 Blazer Grille help
You have two choices you can pick from if your going back to something stock. (good idea IMO)
You could go either to a 67/70 style grill or go with the 71/72 cause either will work with your rad support. One suggestion: Get busy on the board and start postin' up with pics included. You know what you know and that alone makes you have something to offer the rest of us. |

Re: 72 Blazer Grille help
I think you made a good decision going with a new grill - the one in the picture just gives you too much yellow. The new grill will be a great addition.

Re: 72 Blazer Grille help
Got the new grille in today, took some tweaking to get that fine Taiwan part in. Looks 100% better though IMO. Anyone care for the old one?
