Speedo cable siliconed in? Is the old tail broken or can you plug the hole and use it? Go to Junk yard I don't think they're hard to find part. Welcome to the board from Md.

I want to welcome you to the board. Always glad to see folks getting into the trucks. You can try looking for stuff on the parts boards, but if you want to post a Want to Buy there, you'll need to subscribe to the board.
Hope we get to see your BTW The silicon could be there just cause they were to lazy to replace the O ring.

Re: Newbie ......................
BradE....
You will find this the best site avaliable that has info about our trucks. From buying to selling this site has it all. Need technical advice...this is the place to be. We are family and we are all equal regardless of the type or condition of the truck we own. And the $25 fee for becoming a site supporter is the best investment you will make. on owning a classic. Go to the sight below and you will see that our trucks are icons.

Re: Newbie ......................
Welcome from the Great Pacific Northwest! Just so you understand....every "Newbie" is required to post pics of their ride within 72/hrs. of becoming a member. Well, it's not an "Official" rule, but as you'll see- we're all a little whorish for photos!
