Looking for a freebie or swap. 4” lift to Stock ride.
4” lift to Stock ride. Looking for a freebie or swap.
Has anyone here done or want to do a 4 inch lift on a 73-80 Blazer or K10/K15 Pick-up. I’m looking for stock front leaf springs to fit my 1973 K5 Blazer. If you have some you’ve already removed. I’ll trade you 12 bottles of your favorite malted beverage, provided you’re in driving distance of Reno. Or, if you want to make the switch to a 4 inch lift. We could work that out as well. 4 inch rear blocks, ubolts, front springs & all 4 shocks (Rancho’s!!) My 5’ 4” wife want’s to be able to drive it. I’m 6’ 3” and even with the “Tennis Shoes” on it right now (235/75R-15) I still need to reach for the ground. It’s tough with the 35’s on there. (Maybe work something out there, too!) Here's the K5 with the lift & 35's... Let me know. - Dave

Re: Looking for a freebie or swap. 4” lift to Stock ride.
Why drop it? Just make it easier to get in!
http://www.allthingsjeep.com/red32101.html I've actually thought of doing something like this for mine as my short wife whines every time she has to get into it. They make versions that bolt in too. This way they use the stirrup to get in and then you just reach down and pull it inside before closing the door. No low hanging tube steps to yank off on the trail. (not that we could put on tube steps with the rocker boxes in the way on 73-75's) It's just a thought. My wife couldn't get in easy with my k5 at stock hieght and 31's. 4" and 35's didn't make it any better, but she only needs to ride in it if it's snowing like crazy or we are headed to the lake. The 4 speed is what keeps her from wanting to drive it.

I am going to put 2" springs on the front of my '86 GMC. I would give you the stock height springs if you wanted to pay shipping?
But this isn't going to happen for a while. Have the springs, but other issues in line before the springs.

I have the stock springs (front & rear) from my '91 burb--had 103k when I removed them. Free to you--shipping can be arranged for around $60. Let me know if ya want them.
